Milk and molasses enema is the combination of milk and molasses which is used to treat chronic constipation. It works as a stimulant for bowel movement. It imparts a smooth effect on the walls of intestine and stimulates bowel peristalsis. It helps in passing stool. It is used in patients who have a very hard stool and is out of the reach of glove.
